Meet Amanda

Creative by Nature.

Thoughtful by Design.

Amanda Huizenga has served West Michigan as an Interior Designer for over a decade, specializing in residential and commercial design. An artist at heart, Amanda's interior design career began when she received her degree in Interior Design at Kendall College of Art and Design, an accredited program by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).

After graduating, Amanda received NCIDQ Certification from the Council for Interior Design Qualification. NCIDQ Certification core competencies of interior design focus on seven distant areas of expertise which Amanda incorporates into her design projects: Building Systems, Codes, Construction Standards, Contract Administration, Design Application, Professional Practice, and Project Coordination. In moving forward with her interior design career, she established Amanda Christine Design. Since then, Amanda has heightened her unique talents and developed her timeless signature look. She oversees all of her design projects to ensure they are a reflection of each client while incorporating her signature aesthetic. Her strengths lie in her abundant inspiration, relentless work ethic, unwavering vision, and as those who have worked with her know, her pleasant personality.

Amanda's design capabilities range from new construction, remodeling, and renovations, to modernizing updates. From small to large design projects, she works along side her clients to reflect their lifestyles and personalities in the design of their homes and workplaces. Amanda has worked on a myriad of designs often blending new and vintage furniture and accessories, creating a timeless space that feels comfortable and collected. Whether you prefer modern contemporary to traditional, or historical design, she enjoys incorporating your style preference into your home or commercial design project.

Amanda lives in Zeeland, Michigan with her husband and two children. In her free time she can be spotted on walks with her family, relaxing along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, or scouting for the perfect accessory or new source of inspiration.
